Medication Aide

This 24-hour program meets the requirements of the North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements for listing as a medication aide. Students who are certified nurse aide may work in skilled long-term care nursing facilities. This program is not the same as medication technician. After completing the course, the student must apply to the North Carolina Board of Nursing for listing on the Medication Aide Registry. Contact (919) 464-2368 for more information.
