Special notes: Upon completion of the EDU 119 course within the certificate shown above, students are eligible to apply for the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) through the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education. Student must earn a C or better in EDU 119 in order to be eligible. Applications are available through the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education. The majority of the classes in this certificate can be elective choices in the Associate of Applied Sciences in Early Childhood Education - Professional degree only. They will not transfer to a 4-year institution.
