Community/Self-Supporting Programs
Johnston Community College promotes several community service/self-supporting courses designed to meet the cultural, economic, and civic improvement of the community.
Courses are offered at the College campus and surrounding sites throughout the county. Courses and workshops are offered in various subject areas such as the following:

Professional Development/Self Supporting Courses
Professional Development courses are short-term and specifically targeted at the general community. Individuals who wish to skill-up in their current professions or have a general interest in learning different topics should consider these courses. Topics include:
- Supervisor Training
- Public Speaking/Presentation Skills
- Computer Skills/Data Analysis
- Project Management
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Training Communication Skills
- Customer Service
