Early Childhood Intro EDU-3119
This 64-contact hour class provides students with the coursework required to earn the NC DCDEE workforce Early Childhood Credential. Students are introduced to the foundations of culturally responsive, equitable and inclusive early childhood education, guided in planning intentional developmentally appropriate experiences, learning activities, and teaching strategies for indoor and outdoor environments for all young children, gain strategies and resources for guiding the development of young children, and professionalism. This course will cross walk into the curriculum equivalent EDU 119, once enrolled in one of the Early Childhood degree, diploma or certificate pathways.
